Exchange and Return Policy
Ukraine has a law titled “On the Protection of Consumer Rights,” which specifies the circumstances under which a return or exchange of goods of acceptable quality is permitted, namely:
- to exchange goods of acceptable quality for similar goods if the purchased goods are unsuitable in terms of shape, dimensions, style, color, size, or for other reasons, or cannot be used for their intended purpose;
- purchase any other goods from the available selection with a corresponding price adjustment if a similar product is not available;
- exchange the product for a similar one as soon as the corresponding product becomes available for sale;
- terminate the contract and receive a refund equal to the cost of the returned product.
Exchange period: within 14 days, not including the day of purchase.
Conditions for exchanging and returning goods:
- the goods have not been used;
- their marketable appearance, consumer properties, seals, and labels are intact;
- the sales receipt with the date of sale has been retained.
Upon termination of the sales contract, the seller is obligated to settle accounts with the consumer based on the cost of the goods at the time of purchase and to refund the full amount on the day the contract is terminated. If the seller (store) is unable to make the payment immediately, they may, by mutual agreement, refund the funds no later than within seven days.
If you are denied a refund or an exchange, you may submit a written request to the seller for the return of goods of satisfactory quality; the processing period for such a request is 1 month, or in certain cases, no more than 45 days.
The request must be accompanied by documents confirming the purchase of the product from the seller, namely:
1. A sales receipt or similar document indicating the date of sale;
2. A technical passport (warranty card indicating the date of purchase)
After reviewing the application, your request for a return may be denied in the following cases:
1. The product has been used and no longer retains its original appearance, consumer properties, seals, or labels, nor does it include the sales receipt issued to the consumer along with the product;
2. More than 14 days have passed, not counting the day of purchase;
3. The product belongs to one of the categories listed in Appendix 3 to Resolution No. 172 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 19, 1994, “On the Implementation of Certain Provisions of the Law ‘On the Protection of Consumer Rights’”;
